From the age of 16, David spent 10 years working as a qualified audio technician in theatres and recording studios throughout Fife and the Central Belt, including 2 years as a theatre manager on board cruise ships. This interest in sound technology led him to study Hearing Aid Audiology at Queen Margaret University where he won Student of the Year.
David began his audiology career at House of Hearing back in 2011 and so his career has come full circle as he re-joins the team 11 years later. In the interim years he has started his own audiology business, worked for several national chains and in 2021 received the “Audiologist of the Year” award from a major company.
“It’s a delight to work in an environment where the focus is 100% hearing. House of Hearing is the gold standard of independent hearing care, offering unrivalled expertise in a state-of-the-art setting – I’m proud to be a part of it”.
