Emma is a registered nurse who graduated from Dundee University with a BSc in Adult Nursing and previously worked in the Acute Medical Unit and in care homes before joining the Clinical Ear Care team at House of Hearing.
Having worked in care homes for 8 years, Emma often found that those she cared for had hearing difficulties. She felt frustrated at her lack of awareness around hearing health and was keen to gain knowledge in this area.
Emma’s expertise and high standards of patient care have led to her becoming a Clinical Trainer for the group, training new team members in aural care best practices. Emma has also been trained in Paediatrics, enabling her to carry out wax removal procedures for children.
“I love meeting new people from all walks of life. The most satisfying part of my job is seeing the joy on someone’s face when they can hear again.”
