Kyle’s journey with sound started in his teens with a love of playing guitar, listening to music, and learning about science.
After leaving school, Kyle attended Adam Smith College to study a HND in Sound Production before moving on to Glasgow Caledonian University to achieve a BSc (Hons) in Audio Technology with Multimedia.
In 2011, Kyle began working in the Optics industry, however his underlying goal was to pursue a career in Audiology. In 2014, an exciting opportunity presented to progress down the route he had always been interested in and he began a Hearing Aid Audiology course at Queen Margaret University. Since qualifying in 2016, Kyle has worked for two of the largest high street hearing care providers and is delighted to be joining the House of Hearing team in his original home town of St. Andrews.
“I love meeting new and interesting people and building up meaningful relationships as we guide patients through their hearing journey. There’s no better feeling than seeing a patient's life change for the better and it can mean the world to be a small part of that story. I’m excited about joining House of Hearing and being able to provide some amazing technology in a setting that is state of the art but also extremely relaxing and welcoming.”
